Vistani were known for their musical talent as well as their skill in silversmithing, coppersmithing, cooking, weaving, entertaining, storytelling, toolmaking, and horse-trading. Half-Vistani did not have the full powers to traveling the mists and were the result of a union of a Vistana and other non-Vistani. While the Vistana would get a mental backlash after the curse ended, some powerful Vistani could inflict very terrible curses upon those who'd wronged them. While I like the addition of the Delve format to published adventures, the map inclusion leaves something to be desired. Vistani were usually regarded with suspicion because of their Evil Eye, the ability to curse anyone they looked at. Like apparently many fans of 3.5 D&D who played earlier editions, I was excited to pick up Expedition to Castle Ravenloft. They wore colorful and cheery clothing and were big drinkers. This new edition of the RAVENLOFT game combines the original Realm of Terror boxed set with elements from Forbidden Lore and updated rules from other accessories. The Vistani appeared with darker complexions and usually sported jet-black hair.
